Complete and pass state exam
Submit signature of sponsoring broker to Department
Effective September 1, 2005
- Pre-licensing courses will be known as Core courses
- Licensees are required to take a 2-hour course on Ethics for their initial license.
This course can only be taken in a classroom format only.
- Intial education requirements have been changed from 15 hours to 30 hours.
28 of the 30 hours will be Core class hours, the remaining 2 hours must be Ethics.
Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer Key License Requirements:
(Renewal)
Evidence of 15 hours of approved continuing education
License expire every 24 months
Effective November 1, 2005
- The 15 hours for renewal of a license stays the same, however,
the breakdown of the continuing education hours will be as follows:
-- 8 hours of Core classes
-- 7 hours of either Continuing Educaiton or Core classes
